Guangzhou: Foreign Nationals in Guangdong able to get COVID-19 vaccine!
In accordance with the principles of "informed consent, voluntariness,self-paying, and own risk-bearing", Guangzhou is set to administerdomestically-produced COVID-19 vaccines to foreign nationals in Guangdongsubject to local age eligibility restrictions.
1. Vaccination time:
Starting from April 13, 2021.
Foreign nationals who are aged 18 to 59, some aged over 60 who need to bevaccinated for special reasons, and who have good physical conditions are ableto get vaccinated voluntarily.
3. Vaccination fee：
Foreign nationals who have bought social insurance (including medicalinsurance) in Guangdong enjoy the same policy as the insured Chinese citizens,Vaccination for free.
Those who do not buy social insurance (including medical insurance) inGuangdong have to take the COVID-19 vaccine at their own expense, which is 100RMB per dose.
4. Appointment method：
Foreign nationals are able to book an appointment on "粤健通" Mini Program: goto the "Guangdong Covid-19 Service for Foreigners" section on the program, fillin personal information and book an appointment. Once booked successfully, theapplicants can get vaccinated at the appointment time and site.
5. Type of vaccine：
COVID-19 vaccines currently used in Guangzhou are inactivated vaccinesdomestically produced. Two doses will be given.
6. Required identity documents：
To get vaccinated, applicants need to present their Permanent Residence IDCard or their passport and a residence permit in the People's Republic of China,as well as a medical insurance proof. Foreign nationals who have bought socialinsurance (including medical insurance) in Guangdong must present a validmedical insurance proof on site.
7. Vaccination process：
Prior to the administration at the designated vaccination site, recipientshave to cooperate with the staff of the vaccination site to complete theprescribed procedures, honestly disclose their personal health status,truthfully answer the medical staff's questions, and sign the Informed Consentand Disclaimer Statement. Medical professionals will determine whether they areeligible for vaccination. After vaccination, recipients should stay at thevaccination site for observation for 30 minutes.
